I haven't had my hair professionally done in years and was anxious about cutting off my shoulder-length (albeit very thin) hair and give it some sort of style. So biting the bullet and trusting Faye (a great hairdresser) to update my look was the best birthday present I had given myself. Now I can't imagine going anywhere else - and neither can the rest of my family.
